**Overview**:
Our client, an ASX-Listed critical minerals explorer, is currently searching for a General Manager Exploration to join the leadership team and support the advancement of its Australian and international battery metals projects.

**Position Overview**:
As General Manager Exploration, you will be at the forefront of the company's exploration efforts, responsible for devising and executing strategic plans for a world-class portfolio of lithium and base metal projects. Reporting to the CEO, duties will include:

- Direct the design, execution and management of exploration programs, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets and safety protocols;
- Develop and communicate a visionary exploration strategy in alignment with the company's objectives;
- Analyse and interpret geological and geophysical data to support exploration and targeting decisions;
- Collaborate with the board, internal management, consultants and contractors to ensure informed decision-making in relation to discovery efforts;
- As projects advance, contribute to the development of resource models, guiding project development strategies;
- Ensure positive relationships with local communities, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders;
- Identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency to achieve superior exploration outcomes across company projects;
- Drive business development outcomes, ensuring awareness to market conditions and portfolio acquisition or divestment opportunities.

**Requirements;**
- Bachelors Degree In Geoscience discipline - Postgraduate qualifications advantageous;
- Proven leadership experience managing robust exploration programs;
- Working knowledge and experience with lithium or base metal-related commodities are advantageous;
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate cross-functional teams;
- Proficiency with geological modelling software, GIS tools, etc;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex scenarios.
