**About the Assignment**

The Development - Associated Gas (AG) team within the PNG Development & Operations (D&O) unit stewards Santos’ AG-related projects. This covers the management and coordination of project development and planning activities across the full technical and non-technical spectrum, to deliver robust business cases, associated execution plans for progression of an optimised development into FEED.

The AG development(s) include a range of projects. The primary focus area is the tie-in and expansion of the Agogo Production Facility (APF) in the Southern Highlands, to optimise gas supply to the PNG LNG Project.

The APF Tie-In Project is currently in the SELECT phase (Phase 2) and upon completion of SELECT phase and Gate 2 approval of the AG development(s), the project will progress to a FEED phase whereby it is currently envisaged that there will be a continuation of this role into future project phases.

**Tasks include**:

- Identify, frame, lead and manage contract and procurement packages;
- Identify and deliver project benefits through sourcing, negotiation, and excellence in contract management;
- Use initiative, industry knowledge and best practice concepts to lead the development and delivery of project contracting strategies and sourcing plans to achieve stakeholder requirements;
- Develop the Project Procurement Plan including strategy for areas such as warehousing and materials management;
- Effectively engage and work collaboratively with project managers, senior leaders and key stakeholders to ensure best value outcomes as well as compliance with internal Santos, and external, requirements;
- Ensure integration and alignment between key dependable work scopes and contract packages;
- Develop negotiation plans in collaboration with key stakeholders;
- Support management of security requirements, variations, claims and disputes and proactively engage legal, project leadership and other key stakeholders to manage Company post-contract award risk.
- Provide expertise in support of the Project team’s objective to execute within cost and schedule constraints;
- Provide expertise and advice in negotiation of contract terms, variations and disputes as required;
- Issue PO’s in SAP as well as perform other contract-related administration requirements within the Santos procurement database(s);
- Uphold and ensure compliance with all company standards and processes;
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to standards for Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) performance and behaviour consistent with Company’s EHS vision, policies and standards;
- Ensure compliance with the Santos Management System (SMS); and,
- Ensure compliance with the Santos Delegation of Authority (DOA).

**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**

**Location for this assignment is Brisbane working full-time office hours**

**About You**
- Relevant C&P-related certifications are desirable
- Proven oil and gas contracting experience of more than 10 years;
- Experience with Procurement-related role(s) with demonstrated ability to drive efficient and effective C&P processes and systems;
- Project experience within the oil and gas industry is desirable; and,
- Global experience, especially in developing countries and / or remote locations is desirable.
