Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to spearhead strategic procurement planning, contract management, and probity monitoring.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to drive business growth
- Evaluate and manage tenders, contracts, and vendor relationships to ensure maximum value
- Maintain strict compliance with government procurement regulations and industry best practices
- Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management with a proven track record of success
- Thorough knowledge of ICT procurement principles and practices, including tender evaluation and contract negotiation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
- Relevant certifications, such as QLD Government Procurement certification
- Experience working in a similar role within the public sector or large enterprise, with a strong understanding of governance and regulatory requirements
