**About The Role**

An opportunity exists for motivated and experienced Registered Nurses to join Noosa Private Hospital as an After-Hours Nurse Manager/ Day Bed Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating clinical services across the organisation in the absence of the Director of Clinical Services. This role coordinates patient flow and bed management during the day and will assume overall responsibility of the facility after hours, ensuring appropriate patient care, staffing, and safety.

This is a key leadership role that is accountable for the effective and efficient management of all human and material resources within the Clinical Services. The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and service provision within the hospital.

**About You**

The role requires working with and supporting other managers, senior nurses, nursing teams and departments/services in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and extensive clinical skills and experience
- Highly desirable - Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Ability to act as an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Ability to lead and motivate others.
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office programs (Word, Excel & Outlook)

**Remuneration**

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $62.29 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 3 Year 1 )
