Our client is partnering with a leading provider in the transportation and logistics sector, committed to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. They are seeking a talented Environmental Consultant to spearhead the ISO 14001 accreditation program in collaboration with our consultancy firm.

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of the ISO 14001 accreditation program.
- Conduct thorough assessments of current environmental management practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish environmental objectives and targets.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff awareness and compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the environmental management system and recommend continuous improvements.
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on ISO 14001 accreditation.
- Strong understanding of environmental management systems and ISO 14001 standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from inception to completion.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in environmental management or a related field.

**Location and Schedule**
This role offers flexibility, with the option to work 2-3 days per week from either their Sydney CBD or Macquarie Park office, and 2-3 days per week remotely. We are committed to providing a healthy work-life balance for our employees.
