**Description**:
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Are you passionate, enthusiastic, love working outdoors and have an eye for detail? This role is for you Contribute to maintaining a clean and high-quality presentation of our independent living village and care centres.

**Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Cleaning all surfaces of buildings and physical structures to achieve a high quality appearance, including heavy cleaning using approved chemicals and tools, window cleaning and vacuuming of hard surfaces.
- Assisting the maintenance team carry out routine or minor handyman tasks.
- Inspection and clearing of drains, single storey gutters, and cleaning of exhausts and filters.
- Shifting waste bins and sorting waste.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**KEY ROLE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in an Aged Care environment (desirable)
- Ability to conduct heavy duty cleaning tasks
- Competent in the use of hand / power tools and cleaning tools
- Working rights within Australia
- National Police Clearance less than 6 months old or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Influenza Statement
- Covid-19 Vaccination (minimum three doses)
- Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence
- Ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter and work well within a team
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Proficient verbal communication, written and numeracy skills
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
