Ora Banda Mining is a uniquely positioned gold exploration and development company as 100% owner of the Davyhurst Gold Project in the highly productive Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Davyhurst is located 120 km north-west of Kalgoorlie. The region is host to multiple gold deposits with OBM currently carrying a total resource exceeding 2.1M oz at an average grade of 2.8 g/t Au.

**THE ROLE**
OBM are seeking an experienced Processing Leading Hand Operator who is capable of being a hands-on leader. The Processing Leading Hand Operator will be responsible for the day to day, hands on operation of the processing plant. We want to build a high performing culture, with a focus on safety. We are looking for people who want a long-term future. You will be engaged on a rotating 8:6 and 7:7 roster.

The responsibilities of this role will include:

- Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor, control and operate processing circuits of the processing plant.
- General housekeeping duties to ensure that the process plant and work area is maintained to a high standard.
- Carry out data collection and maintain accurate data entry logs.
- Establish effective working relationships with metallurgy and maintenance personnel to achieve high plant reliability and production targets.
- Conduct workplace inspections.
- Actively participate in health, safety, and operational initiatives.
- Other duties as required to ensure smooth operation of the processing plant.

**ABOUT YOU**
To be considered for the role, you will have the following attributes, qualifications, skills, and experience:

- Recent experience as a process plant operator for an operating gold processing plant
- Be an experienced / competent process operator on all stages of gold processing including processing controls and gold room operations
- Effective verbal communication skills
- An approach which supports team building and the effective sharing of knowledge
- Driver’s license (C Class, manual)
- Process Plant start-up and commissioning experience
- The use SCADA control systems
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- HRWL - Forklift
- HRWL - EWP
- Certificate - Skid Steer Loader
- Certificate - Confined Space Entry and Gas testing
- Certificate - Work at Height
