**WHO ARE WE?**
We are a gold explorer and producer that is uniquely positioned to further unlock the potential of our 1200km2 land holding in the highly productive eastern goldfields region of Western Australia. Our operations at Davyhurst is located just 120 km north-west of Kalgoorlie. We have a total mineral resource inventory of 2.00 Moz at an average grade of 2.5 g/t Au and defined mineral reserves of 276koz at 1.9 g/t Au. Our tenements are also highly prospective for Nickel, Copper and Lithium.

**THE ROLE**
OBM are seeking an experienced Processing Leading Hand Operator who is capable of being a hands-on leader. The purpose of the Process Technician - Leading Hand is to efficiently operate processing circuits of the processing plant to optimise its performance while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The responsibilities of this role will include:

- Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations.
- Monitor, control and operate processing circuits of the processing plant.
- Conduct pre-start meetings as required
- Monitor safety inspections and action items to achieve deadlines
- Actively promote safety
- General housekeeping duties to ensure that the process plant and work area is maintained to a high standard.
- Carry out data collection and maintain accurate data entry logs.
- Establish effective working relationships with metallurgy and maintenance personnel to achieve high plant reliability and production targets.
- Actively participate in health, safety, and operational initiatives.
- Mentor the development of skills
- Other duties as required to ensure smooth operation of the processing plant.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Be an experienced / competent process operator on all stages of gold processing including processing controls and gold room operations.
- Be a team player with a positive attitude to work and life
- Ability to work autonomously and follow instructions
- Have an approach which supports team building and the effective sharing of knowledge
- Be a good communicator
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Effective time management skills including the ability to multi-task
- Licenses / tickets:

- WA driver's license
- Bridge and gantry cranes
- Forklift ticket
- Front End Loader ticket
- Skid Steer Loader (Bobcat)
- Confined Space and Gas Test Atmosphere
- Certificate - Work at Height
- First Aid & CPR _desirable_
- Certificate - Integrated Tool Carrier Loader _desirable_
- HRWL - EWP _desirable_
- Certificate IV - Training & Assessment
- Certificate IV - Leadership and Management (Frontline Management)
- Safety System data input InControl (INX) _desirable_
- Microsoft Computer Skill - Advanced Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Experience in the use of systems to raise work orders (PRONTO _highly regarded_)
