TEN Recruitment are working with one of WA’s largest home building companies who are looking for an Assistant Construction to join their team
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Residential Site Supervisor to make a move up into a more senior management role and join this long standing and successful construction company
Your new role will include:
- Assisting the Building Manager
- Ensuring construction takes place in the projected timeframe and all milestones are met
- Management of all slab starts
- Reporting on job progress
- Liaising with stakeholders in regard to the progress of the build
- Ensure construction meets current building codes and building standards
- Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
- At least 5 years’ experience as a supervisor in the residential building industry
- The ability to manage the build from start to handover
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation including the Building Code of Australia and current Workplace and Safety requirements
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- The ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and contracts
- A keen eye for detail
- A network of trades and suppliers
- A great work ethic and can-do attitude.
