Attention Fleet Allocators/Operation Managers
We have positions available all across Australia. We are looking for experienced and qualified team members to join our sites located in all states of Australia.
Our company has been providing responsive, safe, and innovative transportation solutions across the eastern and southern regions of Australia for over 90 years.
**Position Details**:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and coordination of the fleet and drivers. You will drive efficiencies in the utilization of company trailing equipment and ensure compliance requirements are met.
This is a permanent full-time position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordination of all loading/unloading of company and subcontractor vehicles in an efficient manner.
- Scheduling and positioning of company trailing equipment.
- Customer bookings and service support.
- Ensure effective communication across drivers and customers.
- Review, sign off and data entry of driver run sheets.
- Review and manage vehicle documentation and management of the service requirements for vehicles and trailers.
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with road compliance laws, workplace legislation, and company safety policies.
- Miscellaneous on-site tasks as directed.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in allocating and scheduling construction/heavy haulage equipment is preferred.
- Strong commitment to Safety and demonstrated positive safety leadership.
- Intermediate computer and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously or within a team environment.
- Comprehensive fleet allocation and load planning skills.
- The professional manner in dealing with customers.
- A good work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willing to be flexible with varying start times.
