Telstra Health operates the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR) on behalf of the Australian Government. The register is a digital platform that enables a single electronic record for Australian’s who participate in screening for cervical and bowel cancer. It helps improve cancer screening outcomes for individuals by inviting and reminding eligible participants when they are due for screening, and by providing screening histories to a patient’s healthcare provider to help inform appropriate care.

We have a new opportunity available for a Team Leader to join the NCSR Contact Centre and become part of making a meaningful difference in Australian healthcare.

**Key responsibilities of this role include;**
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of Contact Centre Operators. The team will be primarily focused on receiving calls from healthcare providers, participants, and the public in relation to records management, resolving exceptions, conducting data entry and records matching.
- Ability to build a positive team culture and drive strong performance outcomes to meet SLA’s and business objectives.
- Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions to improve performance and skills.
- Monthly and quarterly team performance reporting.
- Be a positive and proactive role model and demonstrate strong customer focus, communication and change management skills.
- Monitors and reports on systems to improve performance by regular contributing to the NCSR Core System Continuous Improvement Log.

**To be considered for this role you will have;**
- Previous Contact Centre Team Leader/ Management or similar experience essential.
- Strong people leadership skills and knowledge.

The contact centre hours are 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday. The Team Leader will need to be available between the hours of 8am - 6pm on a rotating roster.

The NCSR team work from modern office in Lonsdale Street, Melbourne CBD. Whilst this is a CBD based position, there will be some flexibility to work from home on occasion.
