The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support the business’ planning and analysis, working closely with senior management across the NGV.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Working under the guidance of the Head of Finance, you will liaise with business departments to develop, implement, and monitor detailed budgets / forecasts. You will also be a visible and engaging Business Partner, having oversight and input across key business decisions and activities. Other key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring accurate budgets are prepared with regular updates to forecast expenditure and monthly cashflow
- Creating monthly actual expenditure reports and identifying variances to budget and forecast in each department
- Providing analysis options for growth in revenue and driving cost control
- Developing financial models, conducting benchmarking and analyse and improve processes
- Responding to financial requests and D365 queries from departments, providing advice where required

To be successful, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and experience and a full membership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, CPA Australia. You will be able to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably and are able to use numbers and numerical concepts to convey and obtain information, insights, and ideas. You will have analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems and analyse issues from different perspectives. You are accuracy-focused and observe fine details and identify gaps in information. Your drive and commitment allow you to accept changed priorities and thrive in a dynamic working environment.

Previous experience with D365 would be advantageous
