Aaon Printing and Signage is a growing business equipped with the latest printing and finishing technology. We need a friendly, hardworking individual to join our printing department. You will generally work in our in-house print department with our other friendly and passionate staff. Our culture fosters a collaborative and dynamic work environment where every team member plays a crucial role in our business.

The role will have the opportunity to utilize following machines:

- Printer: Mimaki UJV55, MimakiUCJV300, KM C3070
- Laminator
- Guillotine
- Position: Full Time
- Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 including superannuation
- Growing print business, career opportunity, on the job training on offer

**Your position duties**:

- Operation of print finishing equipment to execute finishing processes
- Assist with production, including printing, laminating and packaging
- Assist with regular machine maintenance to ensure presses and finishing equipment remain in an optimal state
- Assist with managing and scheduling daily orders to ensure production time frames and quality objectives and standards are met
- Work with graphic designers to ensure files are suitable and ready to print
- Liaise with leaders and production management on issues that may affect production ability
- Create images and layouts using design software
- Adhere to workplace health and safety standards

Skills & Qualifications required:

- At least 2-3 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar position in a fast-paced commercial digital printing environment
- Knowledge & understanding of printing and print finishing is an advantage
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet operational production requirements
- Able to provide advice to senior management regarding production related matters
- Knowledge of current and new proposed digital workflow processes
- Understanding & knowledge of Adobe software is an advantage
- Attention to detail and keen eye for quality
- Can work autonomously and as a part of a team

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
