**The Client**
Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical company. Their strong market position is achieved through the promotion of a diverse and successful product portfolio and an innovative and exciting pipeline in some unique therapeutic areas.**The Role**
We are currently recruiting for a NSW South Hospital Specialist Representatives in their Oncology team. The team is small, motivated and extremely business focused in their approach. You will:
- Champion excellence in customer experience and patient outcomes
- Engage key Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Urologists and other key customers.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets of allocated territory/product(s) by developing new business with existing and potential clients.
- Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with clients & suppliers and attendance at industry association meetings and seminars.
- Provide feedback to the Brand and National Sales Manager.
- Appraise current and planned customer needs. Develop comprehensive individual customer plans designed to meet their needs and grow territory sales

**Experience Required**:

- Successful completion of relevant tertiary qualifications - science or healthcare related or business degree (ideal)
- Oncology experience will be highly advantageous
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a hospital/specialty sales role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Thorough understanding of the Australian pharmaceutical industry and specialist therapeutic areas.
- Experience in NSW South hospitals
- Strong sales background, with a proven track record of achieving targets/ positive account management
- Solid understanding of anatomy & physiology
- Success within a specialist or pharmaceutical role

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Demonstrate an ability to absorb technical knowledge quickly and disseminate to all levels of healthcare professionals
- Self-motivated; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop rapport quickly
