We are currently looking for a Human Resource Coordinator based on the Gold Coast at InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort. As the first InterContinental Resort to land in Australia, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort reflects the grand, graceful architecture of a classic Queensland estate, nestled within the beautiful surrounds of Sanctuary Cove. Surrounded by 4.2 hectares of lush landscaping with the show-stopping beach lagoon at the centre, the Resort has 251 distinctive rooms all boasting private balconies, 15 diverse indoor and outdoor meeting and events spaces and 5 restaurants & bars.

**Your day to day**
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will be a true generalist, responsible for driving the administrative and transactional activities supporting the hotels winning people culture whilst ensuring our systems and data are maintained and processes are seamless. You will assist with and be exposed to a broad range of matters including, payroll, policies and procedures, benefits and reward and recognition.

As a key position within the Business Support function of the Hotel, you will also have the opportunity to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and the hotel's Senior Leadership team, providing support around performance management, recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement activities and IHG people programs.

Success in this role will see you have a positive impact on our people, brand and delivery and increase the overall Human Resource performance and compliance at the hotel.

**What we need from you**
Ideally you’ll have;
- A degree or diploma in Human Resources or another relevant field of study
- One to two years experience working in Human Resources with exposure to the hospitality industry a plus.
- Ablity to demonstrate strong planning, coordination and execution skills, a high level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Creative approach to solving problems and a strong team player.
