**About the role**
We are operating in a space that’s only going to get bigger, more innovative & increasingly dynamic. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all employees across the state are paid in an accurate and timely manner. RSPCA Qld is consistently implementing updates, embracing a change management perspective will prove advantageous.
- Process the fortnightly payroll in accordance with the relevant CAs, Awards and Individual contracts.
- Interpretation of awards and enterprise agreements.
- Ensure all payroll and employee files are kept up to date with documentation.
- Converse with the relevant authorities to ensure all payroll legislative paper is lodged.
- Ensure payroll databases are well maintained and up to date.
- Payroll reporting and statutory requirements are successfully managed.
- Preparation of all Workcover Insurance claims.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Minimum 2 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience is required.
- Experience in changing systems desirable, but not essential.
- Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail & high level of accuracy and communication both written and verbal.
- Capability to maintain confidentiality.
- Time management and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Sound working knowledge of current payroll & industrial relations (including Award interpretation).
- Exposure to Time and Attendance software.
- Good organisational skills.
This is a full-time time, permanent position, working 38 hours per week at the Wacol Animal Care Campus. Remuneration is commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.
