Geosyntec is looking for highly qualified technical and business development experts to lead our expansion in **Queensland**, **Australia** leveraging our NSW and Victoria established practices in environmental auditing, land contamination assessment, hazardous ground gas management, remediation, human health risk assessments, water resources, sustainability, and litigation support.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Collaboration and mentoring are cornerstones of Geosyntec s culture. The expectation is that you will build and lead the Queensland practice, collaborating with our other Australian leaders and mentoring and developing less experienced staff.

**EDUCATION AND LICENSURE**
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or a related field (required)
- Postgraduate qualifications (preferred)
- Contaminated Site Auditor accreditation (preferred)
- CEnvP certification (required)
- RPEng certification (valuable)

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 10 years (15 years preferred) of environmental consulting experience in contaminated land; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Knowledge of State and National contaminated land guidance and regulations. (required)
- Demonstrated success in the development and management of client relationships. (required)
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)
- Experience in contaminated land auditing. (preferred)
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. (required)
- Valid QLD driver s licence and satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
- Ability to work for any Australian employer required. Visa/Work Permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
