**Job Description**:
**What you’ll do**

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join Placie and be an energetic agitator who gets a real kick out of kicking business goals You will be an integral part of the team helping the business turn raw data into insightful information, which will help make pivotal business decisions. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Development teams.
- Supporting our stakeholders by working with them to understand the problems that they're facing and what data we can provide to help to solve them.
- Share expertise in writing SQL queries to manipulate and extract meaning from our sometimes-complex data sources
- Develop and support solutions that deliver new dashboards and self-service insights solutions
- Demonstrate understanding, motivations and expertise in collaborating with our colleagues in the data engineering team to ensure that everything that’s needed for reporting is available

**Qualifications**:
**What are we looking for?**
- Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously)
- Understand and share expertise in SQL skills. Which variant you have experience with isn't important, but you should be comfortable writing complex queries that bring data together across multiple tables.
- Develop and support solutions that deliver technical solutions and business outcomes with non-analyst stakeholders to understand the problems that they’re facing and coming up with ways to use data to help solve them.
- Demonstrate understanding and motivations to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Preferred experience in Tableau and Google Analytics would be valued.
- An understanding of Big Data Processing with Spark highly valued.
