At Orange sky we are on a mission to Positively Connect Communities and we do this by providing the world's-first free mobile laundry and shower service to people experiencing homelessness. We offer a platform for everyday Australians to connect by creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.

**The Role**

We’re always looking to increase our impact and help more Friends on the street - striving to continually improve is in our DNA at Orange Sky. This role is a key member of our dynamic Operations Team, and vital to the improvement of services across Australia. The role includes a mix of core operational tasks as well as supporting and leading short projects which cascade down from the Operations Teams overarching objectives.

In a nutshell, this role is responsible for:

- Contribute to the identification and design of tools to automate and streamline processes to ensure information transfer is applied and cross skilling of employees is realised.
- Design, develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides ensuring ease of use for a diverse audience.
- Develop, plan and lead the delivery of new and existing operational projects in the volunteer, friends, and training areas, and other areas of need.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate volunteer training material

The ideal applicant has experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation, preferably within the not-for-profit environment and working with a large volunteer base.

Additionally, the ideal applicant has:

- Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating projects and an understanding of project management methodology.
- Demonstrated experience developing training content and varied delivery styles.
- Demonstrated competence to develop and implement procedures and operational documentation to a high standard.
- A demonstrated aptitude for IT systems and database development and maintenance.
- Proactive attitude, solutions-oriented and a genuine passion for our cause.
