**T**HE OPPORTUNITY**

TAFE NSW is looking for industry qualified **Teachers of **Accounting** to join our team as a Casual Teacher and share your industry knowledge and expertise with an engaged student cohort. You will become part of a highly driven and successful team who work collaboratively to achieve students’ success.

We are seeking to build a Suitability List, valid for 3 years, which may be utilised to fill future casual positions of the same classification that subsequently become vacant in the region.

**A**BOUT YOU**

You keep abreast of current industry requirements and have a willingness to continue to obtain industry knowledge. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share information with your students through face to face and connected learning platforms.

To be considered for the role you will have:

- Advanced Diploma (or above) in Accounting
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Three years post qualification industry experience within the last five years, with at least one years’ experience in an Australian workplace context
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency
- Highly Regarded:_
- Higher level qualification in Accounting or related area e.g. Bachelor Degree with an Accounting Major Graduate Certificate or Masters of Accounting
- Membership of a relevant accounting professional body (e.g., CPA, IPA, CA)
