**The Opportunity**

You will play a key role in ensuring the planning, development and teaching of nursing students as well as assist the Hospital Educator in the delivery and development of clinical staff.

This is a **Part-time position working 45.6 hours a fortnight**

**As the Student Facilitator your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide support and teaching to nursing students.
- Liaise with external training facilities.
- Promote a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge
- Support the Hospital Educator in the development and delivery of staff education as needed.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Registered Nurse with Current AHPRA Registration
- Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAE) (or working towards)
- Minimum of 3 years relevant educator experience
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
