Based out of our Mount Waverley Office, in collaboration with the Senior Management team, comprehensively manage Metricon’s supply position for both the strategic and tactical level management of all allocated cost centre procurement categories and assist in driving all Procurement & Supply chain functions.
Reporting to the Supply Chain & Procurement Category Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Drive Procurement Leadership for our New South Wales Team
- Category Management and Planning for both Sourcing and Supplier Management activities
- Actively seek, identify and qualify opportunities to improve Metricon’s supply chain and competitive advantage
- Ensure all agreements meet or exceed our Cost, Innovation, Service, Quality & Safety standards
- Identify price file improvement opportunities and develop relevant action plans for implementation to drive efficiency; and
- Develop initiatives to continually improve the Procurement Group Customer Service processes (including evaluation of customer feedback).

- Diploma or Degree qualified - in a business or related discipline with a Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant organisation role or experience in an Estimating or related role
- Advanced computer literacy skills - MS Office/Windows environment particularly Excel
- Knowledge and experience with distribution, logistics and forecasting systems
- Knowledge and experience using various systems and project methodologies
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate available time and resources for maximum effectiveness
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team
- Strong Procurement process understanding
- Excellent Communication & Presentation skills; and
- Interpersonal Skills.
**This role requires a national police check to be undertaken.
