We are looking for two Assistant Educators (Cert III or Diploma) to join our client at their fabulous 85-place early learning service in Mount Waverley.

Our client's philosophy is promoting childrens interest through play-based learning. The service's Reggio-inspired curriculum integrates literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week. There is also access to a weekly visit from an Artist for creative art experiences and a qualified sports coach for an opportunity to work on motor skills.

**Your day includes**:

- Making children laugh while learning
- Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
- Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
- Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
- Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.

**About you**:

- Hold a completed Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (required)
- Previous experience in a long daycare setting (required)
- A positive attitude to life, am a team player and have excellent communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and writing)
- Able to maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS, and other child safety regulations.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Waverley, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Early childhood education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- CPR Certification (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
