**Day in the life**:

- **Global Technology Update**: Start with a review of emerging tech trends and industry insights to identify potential opportunities for transformation
- **Team Huddle**: Meet with your strategy, architecture, and Platform teams to review progress on current initiatives, discuss challenges, and refine the technology roadmap
- **Strategic Alignment Sessions**: Collaborate with business technology leaders to assess how new trends can be integrated into our Enterprise Technology Services
- **Architecture Workshop**: Lead a team to evaluate and evolve our current technology architectures (across enterprise, solution and domain levels), ensuring it supports both current needs and future growth
- **Vendor & Partner Meetings**: Engage with external partners to explore cutting-edge solutions and validate their applicability to our business context
- **Innovation Brainstorm**: Facilitate creative sessions with your teams to ideate on leveraging emerging technologies to redefine the travel experience
- **Continuous Learning**: Dedicate time to research or attend a webinar on the latest in technology trends, ensuring your vision remains forward-thinking and competitive
- **Visionary Leadership**: A strategic mindset with a passion for digital transformation and the ability to inspire and guide teams
- **Deep Technical Expertise**: Proven experience in shaping technology strategy, architecture, and Platforms within complex, enterprise environments
- **Emerging Technology Savvy**: A keen understanding of emerging trends and technologies, and the skill to assess and integrate them to drive business value
- **Collaborative Approach**: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- **Proven Track Record**: A history of successfully leading innovation initiatives and delivering transformative technology solutions
- **Effective Communication**: Exceptional skills in translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights
- **Vendor & Partnership Management**: Experience in engaging and managing external partners to ensure seamless integration and high performance

**Even if you don't have all the below, we'd still like to hear from you**:

- 5 to 10+ years’ experience in IT shared Services Operations, vendor/supplier management, or service delivery
- Experience of working in a large, private-sector IT organisation, leading digital platforms (Cloud, Integrations, Data)
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Strong knowledge of principles such as design thinking and architecture discipline
- Team management, ideally running a department of 10 or more individuals
- A wide understanding of IT technology and vendors combined with the ability to evangelise new developments to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Proven track record in multi-vendor environments, outsourcing, and commercial negotiation
- Business capability modelling and customer journey mapping techniques
- Bachelor’s Degree level education in ICT
- AIPMM - Certified Product Manager (CPM) or similar
- PMI-ACP - Agile Certified Practitioner or PMI-ACP - Agile Certified Practitioner
- COBIT
- TOGAF Certification
- ITIL* 4 Foundation / Intermediate / Managing Professional
- Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP) - by IAOP
- Commercial and Contract Management Certification
