**About the Role**:
Carbiz is on the lookout for a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist who’s passionate about growth, engagement, and capability building.

The core objective of this role is to build impactful, practical learning experiences to drive individual growth and organisational capability. You’ll lead initiatives such as onboarding, skills development, career pathways, and leadership programs, while also leveraging learning technologies and data to track progress and improve outcomes. **Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Head of HR, this is a hands-on, purpose-driven role focused on identifying capability gaps and designing solutions that help individuals and teams succeed. You will:

- Conduct training needs assessments to identify development gaps.
- Collaborate with leaders across departments to build and grow capability of individuals and teams.
- Support career pathways, upskilling, and leadership development.
- Design and deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Develop blended learning content (e-learning, instructor-led and workshops).
- Facilitate engaging training sessions, both in-person and virtually.
- Support managers in building role-specific training and development plans.
- Lead and improve the employee onboarding and orientation experience.
- Build and manage content on our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Administer and maintain content on the LMS.
- Track training engagement, feedback, and effectiveness.
- Partner with internal teams and external providers to deliver learning initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in L&D.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

**About You**:

- 1+ years of experience in an L&D, HR, or training role (essential).
- Familiarity with adult learning principles (desirable).
- Experience facilitating live training sessions and managing onboarding programs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
- Confidence working with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Experience managing learning platforms or LMSs (desirable).
- A passion for continuous improvement and creating positive learning cultures.
