**The Role**:
In this newly created role of Workplace Relations Advisor, you will play a vital part in the ongoing success of the P&C team. Working closely with our Senior Workplace Relations Lead, who has already made a significant impact in the organisation, you will have the opportunity to collaborate, coach, and provide support to our line managers and business partners. Your focus will be on coaching managers, providing guidance on employee relations matters, and assisting with complex cases. Additionally, your expertise in process management and documentation will be invaluable as we continue to enhance systems and workflows.
**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively partner with line managers and stakeholders, providing expert advice and upskilling teams in P&C management processes related to employee and workplace relations matters.
- Engage in projects and practices that foster knowledge sharing and contribute to successful outcomes.
- Develop clear, accurate, and succinct documents, reports, and policies as required.
Interpret legislation, regulations, awards, industrial agreements, policies, and procedures, offering expert advice when needed.
**Team Style & Culture**:
Join the collaborative and supportive team, where everyone's contributions matter. While the majority of the workforce currently works remotely, the team gather once a week at their vibrant head office in Camberwell to foster collaboration and build strong connections. They also organise monthly social activities and team-building events to maintain positive work culture and sense of community.
**To be successful in this role you will have the following experience**:
- The ability to provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to line managers and stakeholders on employee relations matters is crucial. You should be skilled at building relationships, effectively communicating complex information, and upskilling teams in P&C management processes.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations and policies.
- Being a part of a collaborative team, you should have strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
