Now hiring a Merchandise Planner | Step up to an exciting Merchandise Planning opportunity - This Australian Designer fashion brand is grounded in simplistic, modern design - with a strong eCommerce and retail channel they are on an exciting expansion path. To ensure their growth is well supported and sustainable, we are looking for a strong Merchandise Planner to implement merchandise systems, framework and processes in this newly created role.
Partnering with key stakeholders across Design, Production, and eCommerce as well as Executive Leadership - you will bring your expertise in merchandise planning to this business and support them to implement a framework that allows you to develop and deliver a compelling and profitable customer offer that drives company merchandise strategy. Working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment you will maximise sales growth and stock efficiency, as well as manage structured and ad-hoc reporting.
**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:
- Sales and Style Analysis
- Development, implementation, and management of the Budget & OTB management
- Regularly reviewing and assessing forward orders and proposals for any new ETD in order to keep the stock mix, stocking policy and closing stocks within the target.
- Monitoring the SKUs performance vs Target ROS / Sell Through %.
- Identifying and highlighting the slow-moving products to the category team for the promotion/markdown process.
- Category Analysis - perform necessary category analysis to identify the performance issues of the ranges.
- Category and SKU Forecasting & demand planning
- Post Seasonal Analysis & Range Review creation.
- Reporting - responsible for Key Reporting Cycle within the Merchandise Team.
- Other planning and ad-hoc duties as required.

**Skills & Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Merchandise Planner role preferably in Fashion.
- Strong ability to interpret data and results & forecasting experience.
- Inventory reporting for Brick & Mortar and eCommerce platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills are a must.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- A proven record in maximising sales and margin, whilst delivering stock targets.
- Hardworking, highly organised, proactive with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to develop relationships with people at all levels within the business as well as work independently.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Hands-on and able to work fluidly and under pressure to set up systems that support a business
