- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Merchandise Planner (Home) to join a dynamic team at Seed Heritage.
- Reporting to the Merchandise Planning Manager, this role will be responsible for the financial performance of the assigned merchandise department(s) across all regions.- Please note: This is a Part Time role, 30.4 hours / 4 days week_

**THE ROLE**:

- Maximise the sales and profit potential of assigned department(s)
- Review current performance and recommend future re-plans.
- Establish and maintain item plans for all key items, ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained.
- Preparation and presentation of post seasonal analysis
- Develop monthly option plans and buy quantities.
- Store gridding for allocation purposes based on sales, store capacity & demographic
- Liaising with Head of Retail and State Managers on store needs and stock issues / opportunities.
- Preparation of markdown styles summary and accompanying spend to execute.
- Establishing enhanced reporting, option/range planning & allocation/replenishment to assist in quality decision making and financial performance

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- A relevant tertiary or equivalent qualification in Business/Accounting
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Merchandise Planning role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Exposure to Merchandise planning systems will be highly regarded.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Commercial acumen and understanding of market trends/store demands
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
