**About the role**

Reporting to the Refinery Manager and based at our West Footscray site.

**About your experience**

You are a leader with a clear vision of where the refinery is heading and capable of inspiring and motivating direct reports to achieve the desired goals. A leader that will ensure that all personnel are empowered and supported to strive to do their best at all times, while ensuring they have all resources required to perform their role, safely, meeting appropriate quality standards, and running efficiently.

Other key skills essential for this position are:

- Manage a multiple shift operation
- Exposure to and experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (leader standard work, 5S, visual management, lean daily meetings)
- High computer literacy required in Outlook (E-mail), Microsoft - Excel, Word and PowerPoint and SAP
- Demonstrated mechanical/electrical and processing aptitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Flexible working hours
- Able to identify, analyse and solve problems through formal continuous improvement tools
- Able to work independently
