**The role**

In this newly created part time (20 hours per week) position, as Aboriginal Employment Coordinator, you will support the delivery of culturally safe employment practices, through coaching of our recruiters and people leaders, and working with applicants and education partners to enable South East Water’s Aboriginal Employment objectives.

Working as a key member of a multi-disciplined team, you will work closely with our Talent team, Inclusion and Diversity Coach and our Aboriginal Engagement team to develop strong relationships in local community to build clear and meaningful employment and career pathways at South East Water.

**Who are you?**

You will bring your passion for creating meaningful relationships within Aboriginal community and driven to create employment opportunities.

Bringing your strong awareness and experience in Aboriginal culture, ideally within the local community, you’ll understand how to embed First Nations values into an organisations culture, and have the ability to educate on Aboriginal culture, engaging and influencing stakeholders.

You’ll have exceptional people skills, enabling you to flex between engaging applicants, supporting and educating people leaders and pulling together resources to plan events. You will have proven experience in a similar role or demonstrated coordination skills to support you in this role.
