**The role**
Our career options are as diverse as our people, we all have an important role to play. In this newly created position as Aboriginal Community Partnerships Advisor, you will facilitate South East Water’s strategic community engagement outcomes.
You’ll maintain and build on the healthy relationships that South East Water has with the local gathering places and form new relationships with Aboriginal community groups and service providers within (and sometimes beyond) our service area.
Managing and developing service agreements for engagement projects, grants and initiatives, you will create tailored engagement plans for key business and community-based projects, to align on outcomes and provide a consistent approach in how we engage externally.
**Who are you?**
You will bring your demonstrated commitment to Aboriginal community participation, engagement and employment, with proven experience in relationship development and in-depth experience working with Aboriginal peoples and communities, supporting community development and employment outcomes.
You’ll have exceptional people skills, enabling you to flex between engaging applicants, supporting and educating people leaders and pulling together resources to plan events. You will have proven experience in a similar role where you have provided sound advice in how to engage community and approach community focused projects.
