We are undergoing an exciting period of growth and expansion and are expanding to Brisbane with a brand-new Gastro pub opening inside of a Heritage listed building in the centre of Fortitude Valley.
This new Venue will be sure to take top spot on the Brisbane hospitality scene
**The Roles**:
- Venue Manager
- Assistant Managers
- Bar Manager
- Restaurant Manager

We are looking forward to welcoming hospitality professionals on board that are motivated to bring knowledge, passion, and experience to this new venue and that are excited to learn and grow in our business. This position requires someone with great energy, a formidable team leader with exceptional staff management skills, highly organised and wanting to hit the ground running.
**The Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all staff follow service standards and restaurant protocols. Ensure RSA and liquor licensing regulations are being adhered to across the venue.
- Plan, hire, train, oversee and manage the members of staff.
- Ensure daily/weekly/monthly budgets are met.
- Creating and enforcing venue policies, targets and KPI’s.
- Complete rostering as required and ensure staffing levels and monitored to ensure staff budget costs are not unnecessarily exceeded.
- Manage staff and ensure disciplinary action is taken and documented if company policies and procedures are not adhered to.
- Work closely with the sales and event departments to ensure smooth delivery.
- Hold regular team meetings and daily briefings to ensure all staff are well equipped with knowledge ahead of their shift.
**The Skills**:
- 3+ years’ experience in relevant management role in a high-volume venue.
- Ability to generate revenue building ideas throughout all aspects of the business.
- Have a strong financial understanding of wage costing.
- Ability to stocktake and investigate stock loss.
- Work with and communicate effectively to all departments within the Head Office team.
- RMLV Certificate
- Ability to create an effective roster for all the staff.
- High computer literacy
- Strong conflict resolution ability
- A passion for the hospitality industry with an interest in further learning and development
