About the role
The position actively contributes to the execution of asset management strategies and roadmaps, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. The responsibilities of this position involve comprehensive data and spatial analysis to support Parks Victoria's Asset Management Program. It also includes implementation of enhancements within the Asset Management Information System (AMIS) and engagement with the Significant Asset Monitoring Program, as well as other initiatives within the branch.
The role includes the maintenance of AMIS policies, procedures, guidelines, and training materials. Utilization of the ArcGIS suite for spatial analysis, reporting, and various tasks. Level 1 support for AMIS is also a requirement, and the position contributes to the development of technical specifications, test plans, support plans, and project plans as necessary, significantly impacting our asset management capabilities.
**We're looking for someone with**:
- A tertiary degree or relevant qualification in GIS, Asset Management or similar is preferable
- Experienced in the use of GIS for spatial analysis and mapping (ArcGIS is desirable)
- Experienced in the administration of and level one/level two customer support experience of Enterprise Asset Management Systems (Maximo is preferred)
- A current Resume
- A cover letter addressing the Key Selection Criteria (KSC) as outlined in the position description
