**The Opportunity**

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for Operator to join our team in the Sinter Plant. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

The Sinter Plant facility converts iron ore and various fluxes and fuels into a sintered feed for the local blast furnace. Your prime focus will be to safely monitor and maintain the various process aims and dispatch high-quality products that meet customers’ requirements—all while minimising waste.

This is a dynamic and varied role involving 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster, including both day and night shifts. Start times may vary between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Availability to work two full calendar weekends per month is required.

**What Will You Do?**

In this varied position, you will achieve the following:

- perform complex tasks that require great attention to detail in a 12-hour-shift environment;
- troubleshoot, identify improvements and actively participate in projects;
- communicate as part of a larger team and collaborate with others; and
- work with mínimal supervision and satisfy all environmental licence requirements.
