**About the role**
Partnering with the project leadership team, this role is responsible for the implementation, monitoring and governance of Group and Sector SHEQ programs, systems and processes into projects whist driving consistency in line with business and client requirements. This role is the key interface between the Sector SHEQ Manager and operational delivery.

Key duties, but not limited to:

- Implement objectives aligned to the Sector SHEQ strategy at the site or location level
- Contribute to the development and execution of broader company strategies, initiatives, programs and leading SHEQ practices
- Delivery of programs across the contract, site or location to ensure all project requirements are addressed
- Development of contract specific SHEQ Audit schedule and assurance activities SHEQ Operational Support
- Development and Implementation of SHEQ management plans including emergency, Quality and business continuity planning
- Maintaining client specific requirements and systems including assessing client systems against Ventia requirements and seeking exemptions and internal approvals where needed
- Conduct SHEQ audits in accordance with SHEQ assurance schedule
- Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment and practices, Quality Systems in order to ensure compliance with Ventia SHEQ Management System, legislative and other requirements
- Support operations to perform Contractor SHEQ evaluations and oversee Vis-Res implementation and management on contract
- Coordinate and conduct Leader and employee onboarding and inductions
- Lead and manage ICAM and Serious incident investigations and drive learnings into the site and wider business if required

**About you**
You will have qualifications in OHS accompanied with at least 2 years’ experience as a as a Safety Advisor, ideally in the Electricity and Gas or Construction industry. You will also possess:

- Ability to implement at contract level the SHEQ objectives and targets
- Clearly able to articulate that strategy to operational leads Operational and technical excellence
- Audit qualifications and experience
- Contracting knowledge and experience
- Incident causation methodology training
- Operational experience in high risk environments
