**The Opportunity**
As a **Policy Officer**, you will play a key role in supporting the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies that contribute to improving the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will engage in research, stakeholder engagement, and project support to deliver evidence-based policy recommendations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- **Policy Development**: Assist in researching and analysing policy issues to contribute to the creation of policy briefs, papers, and submissions.
- **Research**: Support data collection and analysis activities, ensuring that evidence-based insights inform policy recommendations.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Participate in stakeholder meetings and forums, assisting in gathering feedback and fostering meaningful relationships.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Help prepare reports, briefing documents, and presentations to clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- **Project Support**: Provide assistance to policy-related projects, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and align with team objectives.
