**About the role**

We currently have a new opportunity for National Operations Manager to join our leadership team based in Wacol.

This role will
- Lead the operational teams based in Wacol and Newcastle in meeting and exceeding the annual financial budgets including operational KPIs
- Build a culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Create process standardisation and alignment across our manufacturing locations, to allow us to deliver finished engineered product efficiently across all our markets.
- Develop and execute sound operational strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Accurately prepare budgets and forecasts

**About you**

To be successful in this position the following skills and experience are desired
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership position
- Experience in the road transport and / or capital equipment
- The ability to lead, motivate and manage people to achieve desired outcomes
- Negotiation and relationship building skills
- Knowledge of Relevant WHS legislation, policy, and procedures
- A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering is desirable
