We are currently seeking a trade qualified **Aerospace Avionics Tradesperson** to join our advanced manufacturing site located in **Port Melbourne** on a **full-time permanent basis **to support the MQ-28 Ghostbat program.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring compliance to Boeing systems and procedures
- Support the Production team to ensure timely and accurate completion of wire harness construction, modification, and associated installation tasks to achieve a successful production of serviceable aircraft
- Test and analysis to verify and validate aircraft electrical system performance
- Provide direction and instructions to assist in the development of subordinate Tradespersons
- Participate in health and safety culture and uphold safety & environmental standards

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)**:

- Minimum 10 years experience in an Avionics role ideally in a manufacturing or aerospace maintenance environment
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) is essential
- Possess an Australian NV1 Defence security clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to work day shifts and support on afternoon shift (if required) based on operational requirements
- General knowledge of safety procedures and strong advocate of EH&S
- Ability to work in a team environment
- A high level of verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to travel on an ad-hoc basis if required
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements
