**About the role**
The Risk Management and Compliance Coordinator is accountable to the Director Enterprise Risk and Compliance Central Adelaide Local Health Network (Central Adelaide). The role is responsible for coordinating and undertaking a range of functions and services which support the Risk Management and Compliance Consultants in the delivery of a comprehensive clinical risk management and compliance program for Central Adelaide. The incumbent works closely with the Risk Management and Compliance Consultants, Quality Coordinators and the Patient Safety Consultant. The incumbent is responsible for:
- Providing expert advice and assistance to the Risk Management and Compliance Consultants in managing and monitoring the organisational risk and compliance function
- Facilitating and assisting with audits of risk controls and coordinating organisational compliance processes including legislative compliance
- Coordinating and undertaking the identification, monitoring and evaluation of organisational risks including monitoring and maintaining the risk register.
- Providing advice and assistance to the development and maintenance of efficient and effective risk management and compliance processes
- Coordinating and undertaking the administration of the organisational risk register including the production of reports of risks
- Providing a range of services which support the coordination and management of an effective compliance program
- Coordinate and undertake a range of administrative services and functions which support the annual SAICORP insurance self
- assessment
Within the National Safety and Quality Standards, National Safety Goals and in a manner consistent with the stated vision and values of SA Health the incumbent is accountable for their own practice standards. The incumbent is an integral member of the Risk Management Team for Central Adelaide.
