We are currently seeking an experienced Global Compliance and Risk Management Officer to join our Global Operations team. This pivotal role will lead the development and execution of our global compliance, risk management, privacy, and workplace health and safety (WHS) strategies ensuring OneSchoolGlobal operates to the highest standards across jurisdictions

Your new role

As Global Compliance and Risk Management Officer, you will be a key member of our Global Operations Team, reporting directly to the Global Head of Operations. This strategic leadership role drives and delivers the compliance and risk agenda across the business. You will shape the global frameworks, policies, and training programs that safeguard our people, students, operations, and play a critical role in nurturing a culture of accountability and integrity You will provide expertise and leadership across:
  • Regulatory Compliance and Legal Affairs
  • Risk Management (ISO 31000)
  • Privacy & Data Protection
  • WHS (ISO 45001)
Some Key Accountabilities:
  • Lead the design and implementation of global compliance and risk management strategies
  • Deliver insightful, board-level reporting and analysis on risk, privacy, and compliance metrics
  • Foster alignment and engagement with internal and external stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Drive continuous improvement and proactive resolution of complex compliance challenges
  • Maintain and monitor compliance with international standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 31000
  • Conduct risk reviews and develop organisation-wide mitigation strategies
  • Oversee WHS, privacy training and capability building across global teams
  • Act as the primary contact for compliance-related external stakeholders and regulatory bodies

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an accomplished Chief Risk and Compliance expert with substantial experience leading a complex organisation. You are an accredited risk and/or compliance professional with commensurate qualifications
Ideally, you will have:
  • A global mindset and executive-level risk and compliance leadership experience.
  • 10 years' senior-level experience in compliance, risk, or governance roles (preferably across global, education, or NFP sectors)
  • Proven ability to design and lead risk and compliance frameworks
  • Expertise in ISO 45001, ISO 31000, and regulatory framework experience in global and/or multinational setting.
  • Experience in privacy and data protection – holding certifications like CIPP, CIPT, or similar (desirable)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and board reporting experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, risk, finance, or related disciplines
