**The role**
This role will primarily involve providing general support and advice on all HR matters and accurate administration of HR practices. With plenty of variety this role will also see you supporting the HR team across the employee lifecycle such as recruitment, employee contracts, payroll, training, health and safety, workers compensation, salary reviews and more. The HR Advisor will educate and support management and team members on a range of HR related policies, procedures and systems.
This is a true HR generalist role, working within a supportive, fun, dynamic team and you will be encouraged to be your best self and further develop your HR generalist skills. Whilst no two days will look the same, we’re looking for someone with a passion for retail who can think on their feet and enjoys being challenged.
**A little about you**:
- Minimum 2 years HR generalist/ advisory experience
- A degree qualification in HR, Business or a related field (desirable).
- Trade/Retail/multi-site industry experience is desirable
- An understanding of current employment law
- Experience of interpreting employment contracts, as well as statistical analysis and problem solving.
- Ability to use your own initiative to gather information and provide solid advice directly to stakeholders
- A strong customer service ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving skills
- High personal work standards and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to be flexible and prioritise and organise work in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Current Driver’s license
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
