**The Role**
- Coordinate administrative and business support activities for a team and other work areas, identify risks and determine appropriate course of action to meet stakeholder needs.
- Accountable to perform complex procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities and tasks that support the delivery of outcomes across Defence.
- Engage and negotiate with stakeholders on complex issues to achieve business outcomes.
- Work collaboratively, build and sustain effective relationships and provide constructive feedback.
- Take the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives, provide advice and guidance on more complex issues.
**About our Team**
The Directorate of Living Services (DLS), within the Estate Service Delivery Branch, is accountable for product and service management including strategic engagement, product and service delivery planning including contract management, governance and performance assurance functions.
The functions we perform are:
- Product/Service definition
- Establish performance outcomes and standards including Key Performance Indicators
- Develop and manage audit and assurance processes, including compilation of performance data and reporting
- Manage Contractor/Supplier underperformance, non-compliance and non-conformance
- Review and approve Contract Change Proposals
- Stakeholder liaison with our Contractors, Suppliers, Defence Committees and Customers.
The ideal applicant will have:
- Ability to achieve deadlines and manage competing priorities in a high-tempo environment.
- Ability to perform research into commercial insights to support deliverables, including conducting audit/assurance activities against contracts.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including conflict management and the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Demonstrated high-level customer service skills with a focus on improving the customer experience.
