About the Role

As the customer base continues to grow and expand throughout Australia, Liebherr Maritime Cranes Division is seeking an experienced and motivated OEM Crane Technician. Reporting to the Technical Manager this role is responsible for Field Service work on all types of maritime cranes including harbour mobile, ship, gantry cranes and reach stackers etc. in Queensland and at times throughout Australia.

The role is hands on and practical, ideal for someone who is motivated and eager to promote the Liebherr brand and lead the way as best in class. Salary range between AUD$105,000 and AUD$115,000 per annum.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose, adjust, repair or overhaul maritime cranes
- Major and minor services
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting of Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical systems
- Inspect and test electrical and instrumentation systems and components
- Routine maintenance, repairs, and component replacements
- Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field
- Complete service reporting and manufacturers documentation

**About you**:

- Trade qualified in Electrical or Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work over-time as required
- Capable of working independently in the field, problem solving in various situations.
- Extensive Crane industry experience
- Ability to fault find and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical issues
- A current driver’s license
- Forklift, W, T, R and Air conditioning ticket advantageous
- Commitment to maintain, and adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace
