**About the role**

As **Resource Recovery Driver** you will be part of the Ipswich Waste Services team, and will be responsible for the efficient collection, recovery and disposal of domestic, commercial, and other waste that is collected via Council’s domestic and commercial waste services.

Some of your key responsibilities will the operation of vehicles, plant and / or equipment to provide:

- Collection, recovery, re-use and/or recycling of resources.
- Collection and disposal of waste.
- Delivery, repair & replacement of Council mobile garbage bins (MGBs).

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Have a HR Class licence or higher or the ability to obtain
- Pride yourself on your safe driving skills
- Be passionate about a clean and sustainable Ipswich for the future

Council will consider providing training to obtain a HR licence. To be eligible for a HR Class Licence, you must have held an open or provisional class C licence for 24 months OR an open or provisional light rig (LR) or medium rig (MR) licence for 12 months.

**What's on offer?**

We have a number of vacancies for permanent full-time positions ( one will be based in Esk) with a salary commencing at Level A - $67,563 up to Level D - $74,995, plus superannuation of up to 12%, under the Ipswich City Council Resource Recovery Drivers Certified Agreement 2021.
