**YOUR ROLE**

As a Commercial Manager within Bunzl Australasia, your core responsibility revolves around bolstering business decisions through detailed analytical insights and commercial acumen. You'll be instrumental in shaping and implementing the Bunzl Business Partnering framework, enhancing our ability to forecast, plan, and navigate the complexities of the market. Your role demands a proactive approach in fostering relationships within the finance sector and the broader Bunzl community, acting as a catalyst for change to ensure seamless integration of new practices. Key aspects of your role include:

- Providing decision support to business leaders with actionable insights and recommendations based on solid analysis.
- Developing and refining reporting mechanisms to offer value-added commentary on performance drivers, ensuring information is timely, accurate, and impactful.
- Playing a pivotal role in business planning and forecasting, utilizing a deep understanding of the industry to guide financial strategies and operational plans.
- Evaluating business cases with robust financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making, followed by conducting post-completion reviews to capture learnings and drive continuous improvement.
- Leading and developing a team dedicated to Finance Business Partnering, aiming to meet commercial objectives through enhanced processes and reporting frameworks.

**ABOUT YOU**

Your background as a Commercial Manager showcases a blend of leadership, analytical prowess, and commercial insight, developed over more than five years in commercial finance or FP&A roles. Your approach to work is characterized by a keen focus on results, driven by a deep understanding of financial data and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights. You bring to the table:

- A strong foundation in finance or business studies, supplemented by professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or CIMA.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a proven track record of managing direct reports to achieve productive business outcomes in complex environments.
- A customer-centric mindset, combined with the ability to influence stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, data warehouse tools like Power BI, and advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, delivering on time with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
