We are a leading commercial real estate company based in the Dandenong area, currently have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Trust Accountant. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and fit into our friendly and motivated team.

Duties include the following:

  • Oversee duties of Assistant Trust Administrator
  • Entering creditor disbursements such as council, water, OC
  • Tenant invoicing for all outgoings
  • Following up and resolve unpresented cheques and unidentified deposits
  • Credit card transactions
  • Assisting Property Managers with ledgers & owner/tenant queries
  • Ensuring ingoing/outgoing final statement of adjustments are accurate
  • Closing bond accounts
  • Maintaining the bond account register
  • Disbursing bond refunds
  • Data entry of new leases/lease transfers/lease assignment
  • Updating existing data for lease renewals
  • Ensuring all leasing fees/documentation have been created and invoiced to landlord/tenant
  • Receipting of sales deposit and processing account sales
  • Updating property transaction spreadsheet and ensuring fees have been collected
  • Ensuring financial year end reports are accurate and forwarded to landlords on a timely manner
  • Ensuring rebate statements and refunds are completed for clients
  • Lodging unclaimed money by the due date
  • Processing commission statements for sales/leasing department once a month
  • Providing reports and assisting Auditor with queries

The ideal candidate will have an Agent's Rep Certificate and experience in a similar role. They will be organised with a strong work ethic and friendly personality. We would also like someone who is punctual, reliable and honest.

The role is full time Monday – Friday with remuneration relative to experience.
