**About this position**

The City of Gosnells Facilities Maintenance Team presents an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to oversee, assist, and execute a wide range of facility maintenance duties across Council-owned buildings and associated assets.

**In this role, you will**:

- Monitor and oversee the work of multi-skilled tradespersons on site
- Assist in conducting contractor on-site inspections
- Support the 'permit to work' system
- Provide timely advice on high-risk areas related to facility maintenance
- Conduct on-site inspections and make recommendations as required

**What we are looking for**

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Sound knowledge of building construction, maintenance techniques, procedures, and industry trends
- Experience in leading and empowering teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate personal workload and multiple tasks with mínimal supervision and within specified timeframes

**Essential requirements**
- Carpentry trade qualifications
- Current driver's licence.
- White Card
