**The Role**
The Division comprises a professional and diverse workforce of highly specialists including engineers, scientists and other professional staff who provide undertakes rigorous scientifically-based analysis of Defence operations and capability to provide independent, impartial and timely advice.

We are seeking a high performing and motivated individual to perform the role of Security Advisor.

You will organise workflow and make independent decisions relating to the Division's security matters. The successful applicant will interpret and provide advice within the Physical Security function based on legislation, policy and procedures. You will undertake specialist research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessment and investigations.

Key Duties:

- Undertaking risk assessments and support compliance
- Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of security accreditation for Division facilities.
- Undertaking security incident management within divisional facilities and delivering security inductions and briefings as required.

This role will require you to work collaboratively with stakeholders to build and sustain productive relationships to achieve security objectives. You will provide complex security advice to enable the achievement of appropriate security controls.
