About the Role
As the Allied Health Clinical Lead - Delayed Discharge, you will provide advanced allied health clinical leadership and systems-level intervention where complexities in discharge requirements and pathways potentially impede timely discharge from the acute hospital services. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to identify, monitor, and creatively respond to internal and external barriers to discharge. You will take a lead role in undertaking research that provides an evidence-base for understanding contributors to unnecessary extended length of stay in acute facilities, and evaluate strategies implemented to address these factors.
