The Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport, is a 5 star 315 room hotel, located at the entrance to the Sydney domestic airport. We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate and customer service focused Full Time Group Reservations Coordinator to join our team.
About the role
Reporting to the Reservations Manager this position sees you promoting and selling the Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport and Sir Stamford Circular Quay accommodation, services and facilities.
You will be quoting, confirming, liaising with clients & loading groups as well as assisting in taking FIT bookings from a range of guests and booking channels. Your flair for sales, and positive personality will be well suited to our friendly office environment. You will be managing and coordinating activities of the reservation team members providing reservations and customer service skills.
Passionate about providing high quality service, with your impeccable attention to detail you will be a vital member of the Reservations Department.
A strong background in Reservations or Hotel Reception is essential
Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
The ability to multi-task as well as work under pressure
A team player, with flair for sales
Impeccable attention to detail
Experience with Opera PMS is essential
